We are currently fundraising to build a new rustic-style visitor center, with public restrooms (indoor plumbing instead of portable toilets), a conference room, and visitor area. Our current building is very small (15x24 feet) and crowded, and we are in dire need of more space. The project is estimated at over $100,000. We are hoping we can achieve our goal within the next 5 to 10 years. To raise funds throughout the years we will hold events, such as our recent silent auction.
We would appreciate any help that you would be able to contribute to a cause that would not only benefit our current visitors, but all the future generations who visit Webster Pond.
Friends of WildLife, a non-profit organization, was formed to improve Webster Pond to include maintenance, events and fund-raising . All proceeds are donations to benefit Webster Duck Pond .

A word from the President...
My name is Chad Norton. I am 29 years old, and have been wheelchair-bound with Cerebral Palsy since I was born.It has always been my hope to someday start my own busines or organization to better the mobility and enhance life for the disabled. That dream was revisited when my friends Caroline West and Mike Riley mentioned starting a non-profit organization.I have always wanted to have the back trails at Webster Pond to be handicap accessible. It was brought up several times to the Anglers Association of Onondage, the caretakers of Webster Pond.
I saw this as a the perfect oppertunity to start my dream.Thus, Friends of Wildlife or FOWL for short, was born. Being a 501C-3 non-profit corporation will allow us to apply for grants and other financial aid. This opens countless doors with many new oppertunities Thank you for all the support, past present and future

DONATE TODAY COVANTA ONONDAGA, CONFIRMS THEY WILL MATCH ANY DONATIONS GIVEN TO OUR NON-PROFIT GROUP FRIENDS OF WILDLIFE AT WEBSTER POND TO BUILD A VISITORS CENTER
Covanta of Onondaga the corporate sponsor for Friends of Wildlife has been a big supporter since their initial donation of $2300 for the bridge renovation that lunched the back trail project, Again thanks to Mike Riley for making the connections, and management for supporting our new endeavors.
Covanta 'support continues bigger and better than ever. All donations given to Friends Of Wildlife will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 a year. in effort to raise funds for a new visitors center with indoor restrooms. To date, they have matched just over $3960.00, almost there, lets MAX it!! Covanta’s support is greatly appreciated and yours will be too. The Friends group recently to built a shelter on the back trail , first left after Lilly Lane to accommodate visitors in case of inclement weather or just to relax . The Arise foundation funded the entire project valued at $1500. The project was completed by local boy scout troop #76 for an eagle project. Thanks Arise for your continued support
